It was a day to follow a band around, literally, and capture what they do best: rock the sonic chaos. As you may know, I truly adore the Marin County psych-pop band Milk For The Angry, and when they call, I follow. So, I found myself out with my cameras and my bravado at both the Haight Ashbury Street Festival in San Francisco and the San Rafael neighborhood hoedown that is Porchfest (porches + musicians = fun!).
There are a few things I really enjoy about this band, but their stage energy and boisterous interactions with each other top my list. Aside from the fact that I love their songs, they are excellent musicians, kind humans, and they put on seriously epic and lively shows. Witnessing and capturing two of their live gigs back to back didn't hinder my love for their music.
Check these guys out sometime—you won’t regret it! Well, unless you dance too fast, mosh too hard, or smile so much your face hurts.
